Autumn Yoga Retreat With Jenifer Parker

Quick programming note: Jenifer will be leading an autumn yoga and meditation retreat this October 19 to 21. Jenifer is bringing her transformative all-levels yoga to the tranquil setting of The Country Place Retreat and Conference Center, located in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains.

The weekend will mix therapeutic yoga sequences with hikes through the beautiful fall foliage of the sanctuary's 450 acres of woodlands and meadows. Perfect for recovering from the usual rigors of life or, say, the Austin Film Festival.

For more information, or to register, visit Jenifer's web site at http://www.jenifermparker.com/.

Recovering from the AFF?

Pish posh. All that takes is a shower, some meat, and a few hairs of the dog what bit ya.

Peace? Tranquility? Flexibility? A true warrior seeks not these things.

"CONAN! What is good in life?"

"To crush your enemy in battle, to see them driven before you, and to hear da lamentation of da vimmen."

Fuckin ay, bubba.

Whoa - great picture of Jen. Her eyes are, shall we say, "smoldering."

Eric: Indeed. That's because . . .

(a) she's looking at me!

(b) we were going for an effect appropriate for the theme of this blog.

(c) of the magical light in Wellington's Karori Wildlife Sanctuary.

(d) she's just like that sometimes.

Meanwhile...

(sigh)

I ain't proud, but...

You've been TAGGED for another damnable meme-thread:

Once you’ve been tagged, you must write a blog with ten weird, random things, little-known facts or habits about yourself. At the end, choose at least 5 people to be tagged, list their names and why you picked them. Don’t forget to leave a comment that says “you’ve been tagged” and tell them to read your latest blog.

Deal with it, or just ignore it.

Whoa that's some crazy hair. I'm guessing that was taken sometime after she left for NZ but before she got the dreads cut off.

Wish I could do a yoga retreat in October...sounds awesome.
